Spruce(Spice!) up your presentations: How to create content that sticks with participants
Want to be the person everyone wants to take a class from? We will show you some time-tested techniques for keeping your audiences interested, engaged, and eager for more. This team of certified non-formal environmental educators will lead an interactive workshop where they share their secrets to keeping adult learners, of all backgrounds, awake for one-hour or three! Bring your class materials and presentations, and we’ll help you add in some things to make it more engaging.
Presenters:
LoriAnne Barnett Warren, an ISA Certified Arborist, is the Specialized Forestry Program Administrator for the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
Megan Lasley (she/her) is the Forestry Outreach Coordinator at AZ DFFM.
Laura Key has a career of over 20 years in environmental education, including managing an environmental education center, then specializing in developing programs and materials on such topics as desert ecology, air quality, recycling, solar energy, and water conservation.
