This class will be presented in Spanish Language and cover the proper care and pruning of landscape citrus trees.

8:00 - Introduction & Orientation
8:20 - Planting details: Hole depth, width, amendments, staking, mulches
9:10 - Irrigation considerations: Types of delivery, wetting area,
frequency, duration
10:00 - Break
10:20 - Pruning: Young tree training, sunburn, structure, health, fruit
weight, timing
11:10 - Citrus problems: Species differences, temperature, major insects,
common diseases
12:00 - Program complete and CEU signup.
